We adopted the text proposed by Christoph Witzig.
We modified the second bullet to require implementing the "bans" rather than the "central banning service" so it is not implementation specific.
What if there is a service that cannot implement banning?
- Exceptions should be reported to the Grid Security Officer as usual.
Do we ban resources/sites in addition to users?
- You can suspend a site from the Grid, but you can't force a user not to use a resource. The user can submit directly to a site.
- Suspending VOs is very heavy.
Shouldn't this just be added to the Site Operations Policy?
- We're currently not editing that policy. We can do that in the next round.
